Accelesource (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a browser extension and related website and services that help online resellers identify and research products across supported retail and marketplace websites. This Privacy Policy explains the information Accelesource may access, collect, transmit, store, and use.

Information Accelesource Accesses

When you use Accelesource on supported websites, the extension may access product-page information needed to provide its features. This can include product titles, UPCs, GTINs, ASINs, SKUs and other product identifiers; prices; product images and URLs; dimensions and weight; availability; seller and offer information; and other product information displayed on supported websites.

Accelesource uses this information to provide product identification, matching, marketplace research, seller analysis, profitability estimates, saved research, and related user-facing features.

Information Sent to Accelesource Servers

Certain information may be transmitted to Accelesource servers when necessary to provide requested features. This can include product identifiers such as UPCs and ASINs, product titles, retailer information, and related product data. Our servers may use this information to perform product matching, retrieve research information, cache product research, improve response speed, enforce account and subscription access, prevent abuse, and operate the service.

Accelesource does not use browsing information to build advertising profiles or track users across websites for personalized advertising.

Account and Authentication Information

If you create an Accelesource account, we collect information needed to create and operate that account, such as your email address, password authentication information, account status, trial status, promotional trial information, and subscription status. Passwords are not stored in plain text.

The extension may store an authentication token locally in browser storage so that it can securely access account-restricted Accelesource features.

Subscriptions and Payments

Accelesource uses a third-party payment processor to process paid subscriptions. Payment-card information is submitted to and processed by the payment processor rather than being stored directly by Accelesource. We may receive and store information needed to manage your subscription, such as payment-provider customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, and billing-related events.

Locally Stored Information

Accelesource may store settings, preferences, authentication information, cached information, and saved product research locally in your browser using browser storage. This information is used to provide extension functionality and preserve settings or saved research between browsing sessions.

Saved Research

If you choose to save product research, Accelesource may store that research locally in your browser and may process related product information as necessary to provide the requested feature. Saved research can include product identifiers, marketplace research, prices, seller information, profitability calculations, and other product-research information displayed by the extension.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate and provide Accelesource; authenticate users; determine trial and subscription access; identify and match products; retrieve marketplace research; display seller, offer, pricing, sales and profitability information; save research requested by users; process and manage subscriptions; provide customer support; improve reliability and performance; diagnose technical problems; maintain security; and prevent abuse.

We do not sell users' personal information or browsing data. We do not use or transfer user data for personalized or behavioral advertising, creditworthiness, or lending purposes.

Third-Party Services and Websites

Accelesource may communicate with third-party retailers, marketplaces, APIs, infrastructure providers, authentication services, and payment providers when necessary to provide requested functionality or operate the service. Information is shared only as reasonably necessary for those purposes, to maintain security, or to comply with applicable law.

Accelesource also provides links to third-party websites and marketplaces. Those websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by Accelesource. Information transmitted between the extension, website, and Accelesource servers is transmitted using encrypted HTTPS connections. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Accelesource, operate accounts and subscriptions, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Cached product information may be retained to improve performance and reduce unnecessary requests to external services.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Accelesource's use and transfer of information received from Chrome extension permissions and Google APIs complies with applicable Chrome Web Store User Data Policy requirements, including Limited Use requirements. Information obtained through extension permissions is used only to provide or improve user-facing Accelesource functionality, maintain security, and prevent abuse. We do not sell this data or use it for personalized advertising.

Children's Privacy

Accelesource is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Accelesource develops or as legal, technical, or platform requirements change. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
